Sarah Smoot - Congeniality Award
Sarah is an active high school junior who enjoys horseback riding, cross country track and spending time with her family. As Miss Teen Virginia International, Sarah is telling girls to "Just Be You." She understands that the images portrayed in the media are causing teen and tween girls to have eating disorders to try and achieve what they see on tv and in the movies. She is working to prevent girls from going down that harmful and unhealthy path by talking at schools across the State. Sarah says to "Just Be You " because You are Enough.
