1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
My theme song would be “Superwoman” by Alicia Keys. Since the moment I heard it, I fell in love with it. She soulfully pays homage to strong women who keep it together and persist through the toughest of times. It inspires me to be the best person that I can be. It is empowering and uplifting and echoes the positive effect that I hope I have when I walk into a room.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I love shopping at H&M! My clothing style is varied: comfortable yet edgy. I seem to have a preference for darker colors, but when I perform I like to make a bold statement with my clothing. H&M allows me to express myself and my emotions through my wardrobe.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
Twice a year, my family and I travel to Haiti. This has been a family tradition since I was 8 years old. We split the vacation between work and fun spending most of the time in my family’s village organizing activities with the kids The rest of the time is spent in the city and of course at the beach. With each trip, I feel more connected to my country and my Haitian pride deepens.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
I adore playing soccer. I’ve played since I was 3 years old. Even though I don’t play on a team anymore, I will play every chance I get. It’s a great emotional release and escape from the business of life. It gets my adrenaline pumping, and the joy I get from making a goal makes me love the sport even more.
