Rachel Brady a 17yr old senior at Santa Margarita Catholic High School and a resident of Dove Canyon, CA took home the title of Miss Teen California International 2006

Rachel will spend her year of service championing her personal platform CHARACTER COUNTS. Rachel will encourage youth to follow the six pillars of character: Trustworthiness {Be Honest}, Respect {Be Tolerant}, Responsibility {Be Accountable}, Fairness{ Play By The Rules}, Caring {Be Kind}, and Citizenship {Obey The Rules}. Rachel knows good character is necessary to successfully meet life’s challenges and it is up to all of us to teach young people character counts.

Rachel is a competitive dancer with West Coast School of the Arts. As a Dancer Rachel knows how to pursue sportsmanship with honor. Rachel will promote organized sports as a good training ground for character.

Rachel is also an active member of her community and has spent numerous hours as a speaker with the YMCA, Special Games, the Bell Tower Foundation, Catholic Worker, Revlon Breast Cancer Walk, and D.A.R.E. of Fountain Valley Police Department, Fox Sports Radio, Shelter 37Charity Golf Tournament, Elementary Schools, and Discovery of the Arts.
