2005 Rookie director of the year
Eddie Peterson is the Executive Director for Mrs. California International. He holds two Masters degrees in psychology and counseling. He is employed by The Desert Mountain Counseling Center where he is a clinical counselor running therapy groups and family counseling sessions for troubled adolescents and young adults. He has a private practice as well, and speaks out as an advocate for children that have been sexually and physically abused. Eddie was on the Executive Committee for Miss California USA, presenting workshops on "Lifestyle Changes", "How to be an Effective Communicator" and "Managing Life Beyond Beauty Pageants". Eddie was a Star Search finalist in the Male Vocal category as well as being named Entertainer of the Year 2002 in California for Upcoming Talent in the regional competition out of 500 entrants. He is excited to be in the International program where personal achievement, community involvement and family unity holds such a high priority.
