1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
I would want everyone to have to accept people's apologies. This would benefit everyone in so many ways. It not only mends relationships and promotes healing but it allows people to move forward and build trust again. It teaches empathy and understanding. It all around would create a more positive and supportive environment leading to personal growth.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
I would love to fly! I would be able to go anywhere I wanted and not have to wait for a ride or get stuck in traffic. I would have the freedom to travel anywhere I wanted to go. Exploring new places would be amazing! I could visit unique places and go to events on the other side of the world or really just enjoy the views, sunsets and sunrises from way up high.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
I feel this happens when someone can take total responsibility for their own actions. This shows that they understand that their decisions have consequences and they are willing to own up to those. It shows a sense of self-awareness and hopefully then are more likely to think before they act. This ideally, leads to making better choices in the future.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
Working together on a team leads to success. I've learned that the least prepared person on a team will hold the it back. Being a leader is important and models what is necessary to excel in anything you put your mind to. Working together brings in all diverse skills to achieve a common goal. If one team member is underprepared, it will slow down progress and definitely impact the overall performance. Everyone needs to be on the same page and work together smoothly to achieve the goal.
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
I think it would be having to tell people that they are ill. This dramatically impacts a person's life, their emotions and their well-being. You need empathy, compassion and the sensitivity to handle the conversation in a way that supports the individual and gets the necessary information across as well as inner strength and composure to deliver the news without letting your own emotions interfere. The person delivering the news, I'm sure feels anxiety and maybe even responsibility for the impact of their words.
