Director: Susan Botek

The 2007 Miss Teen Ohio International Pageant will be held on March 2nd-4th at the Franciscan Center Theater in Sylvania, Ohio.
Susan is a woman of varied talents and exemplary accomplishments. She Co-owns Bow Tech. Productions, Inc., with her husband Sam, while personally overseeing day-to-day operations. Bow Tech. Productions has produced shows in Northwest Ohio for Jerry Lewis, Davy Jones from The Monkees, and Ray Charles.
She has been the state director for Mrs. Ohio ® International Competition since 1992. Under her guidance the Ohio International Pageant System has achieved six top ten recipients, two top five finalists and two national winners, Lisa Moser, Mrs. International 1998 and Britany Belczak, Miss Teen International® 2004.
Susan is the President and Founder of the "Light The Way" Breast Cancer Foundation, which was created to serve women under 40 which have been diagnosed with breast cancer. She was a Guest Speaker for "Check It Out," a program that teaches high school junior and senior women the importance of breast health and self- breast exams.
She is the recipient a 2001 City of Toledo Spirit Award, a Twenty Under 40 Leadership Award; she was named one of Toledos Women of the Year.
In 1993, Susan was named honorary chairperson for "The Winner's Track," a 5K run and was given the rare "Award of Courage" by the Northwest Ohio Unit of the American Cancer Society. In 1992 and 1998, they also named Susan their honorary Chairperson for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Mrs. Botek is no stranger to television and radio. Susan has served as a co-host for The Easter Seal Telethon, Town Talk (a Saturday radio community talk show) and for " Toledo 11 - This Morning", and has starred in several television commercials. She has also appeared on all major network affiliates in Northwest Ohio, speaking on topics of breast cancer survival, adoption and Pageantry.
