1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
1. I moved from Hyderabad, India, to the United States when I was about five years old. I have had the opportunity to live in London and New York for a while before I moved to my current home in The Woodlands, Texas. I can say for a fact that everything’s bigger in Texas, especially the heart and pride of Texans!

2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
2. What I instantly loved about America was how it is a melting pot of different cultures and ethnicities. Even though my native language is Telugu, I learned to be fluent in English when I was seven years old. I am blessed to have been brought up by a rich Indian heritage while having the chance to learn more about American culture. It’s like getting the best of both worlds!

3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
3. In high school, I had the opportunity to be a part of and lead various activities including DECA, Dance, Model United Nations, Junior State of America, and Theatre. I also discovered my passion, giving back to the veteran community, when I became a Junior Volunteer for the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition, I assist the veterans alongside the American Legion Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars organizations.

4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
4. I will be graduating from The Woodlands College Park High School this June with honors and I will be attending the University of Texas at Austin in the fall. Currently, I am enrolled in UT’s Moody School of Communication and I plan on majoring in Human Resources with a minor in Finance. During my undergraduate study, I will strive to reach my childhood dream – Harvard Law School.

5. How would your parents describe your personality?
5. Being Miss Teen Texas International has been a journey of experience, knowledge, and self-discovery for me. I get to try things I've never done before, learn more in depth about problems facing society, and learn more about myself every day. I gained a new perspective on community service and aside from my platform Salute to Veterans, I worked with the Giving Gown Foundation, Run for Hope, and several cultural organizations.
