Jacey Cox - 2nd Runner-Up
1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
Wonder woman because she is strong and not easily defeated. She stands for goodness and is dedicated to love and kindness.
2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
A true friend is one that sticks by your side no matter. One that believes in you and never fails to be there. Ultimately, a true friend shows unconditional love.
3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
I use criticism constructively to better myself by working on areas that I may struggle with. If the criticism is not intended to be constructive but meant to ridicule me or bring me down, I remind myself of who I am and pray for the one criticizing me.
4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
My senior year of high school, I decided I wanted to try golf. My daddy thought I was crazy when I asked for a new set of golf clubs, but he and my mom are very supportive of my sisters and me trying new things. So, I got my set of golf clubs and played gold my senior year.
5. How would your parents describe your personality?
Crying is a sign of strength because it takes courage to get your feelings out no matter what the situation is. As an advocate for a holistic approach to teen health, I encourage teens to share their feelings and seek help when needed. I am hopeful to break the stigma that sharing feelings or seeking help is a sign of weakness.
