1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
Perseverance. I have been through a lot and faced many hardships with my illness. I stand here today because I persevered through my struggles and continued to stay strong, which is something I will carry for life.
2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
Be yourself, and always smile! True beauty is something that starts from within and shines out. A smile can brighten a room and bring so much beauty to a face.
3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
My diverse background. I’ve had the privilege to be exposed to many different cultures and have learned so much. It separates me from the crowd and gives me individuality. I’m proud and grateful for the things I have in life because I know that many people are much less fortunate.
4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
Friday! Not only is it the beginning of the weekend but it’s my time to spend with the people I love most, my family. It also gives me a bit of time to relax and reset goals for the upcoming week.
5. How would your parents describe your personality?
My family and friends. I am very fortunate to have my family and friends to always be there for me supporting me in everything I do. Regardless of the outcome, they are always there when I look back.
