1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
HOPE…This word kept me going on the nights I was homeless trying to find food and shelter. HOPE is what found me a family, and what brought me to where I am today. No matter what life throws your way HOPE is something no one can take from you.
2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
Beauty is something that is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is not what is in the mirror; it is not what you wear, but rather what is in your heart. So my beauty secret is to always think good things about yourself and you can’t go wrong.
3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
I would have to say my family and their ability to remain strong and united no matter what obstacle they face. We are all very close and I am thankful everyday to have a family I can be so open with about every aspect of my life.
4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
Sunday has been my favorite day of the week for as long as I can remember because it is “doughnut day” in our house. Every Sunday morning my parents get fresh doughnuts before we all wake up. The entire family spends quality time together and we BBQ in the evening.
5. How would your parents describe your personality?
Amber is my good luck charm. She is a stuffed cat that my family gave to me when I came to live with them. She is a symbol of a fresh start in life and still continues to be an important reminder of how lucky I am to be adopted.
