What Superhero would you like to be and why?
1. At 16 I am positive that I am a mutation. J Lynch Syndrome is a genetic disorder that increases a persons chances of aggressive hereditary cancers. As a carrier, I am a national spokesperson for Lynch Syndrome International. It is my responsibility to educate and to share my story. It is surreal to see peoples reactions and know that I could lead them to learn about their family history or even educate their doctors.

What according to you is a true friend?
2. As a junior, I know that it is important to work hard now in order to achieve my goals for the future. I feel that God is calling me to go into Clinical Psychology with a focus on Family Counseling. The college courses that I am taking now help me to receive my PhD even sooner. It would bring me such joy to know that I was able to impact a family for the better.

How do you handle criticism?
3. My first memory of volunteering was when I was 4 years old. My mom was a police officer and I was working with her to raise money for the Special Olympics. J Since then, I have volunteered for all sorts of different causes. From building sheds and decks for the Rosebud Indian Reservation homes to raising money for Childhood Cancer Research, I know it is the most humbling and fulfilling thing imaginable!

When was the last time you tried something new?
4. I love Volleyball! Not only is it fun, but it has also taught me leadership and perseverance. I know that in order to be the best that I can be, as a 53 setter, there is no off season! Because of my dedication, I was honored to be named Varsity Captain. God continued to surprise me by allowing me to be named onto the 2nd Team All-State and the Conference Christian Character Team.

Do you think crying is a sign of weakness or strength?
5. The most important thing to know about me is that I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. All of the hard work that I do and all of the recognition that I receive goes to glorify Him. My purpose in life is to conduct myself in a way that allows people to experience His love through me. A motto that I live by is, Remember who you are and Whos you are.
