1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
My personal theme song would have to be, “The voice within” by Christina Aguilera. To me, this song represents over-coming your obstacles and being true to yourself. Being an active teenager, cheerleader and Karate Competitor, I often miss many social gatherings. Peer pressure is constant at my age. So, when I listen to this song I remember to stay true to my heart, believe in myself and stay completely focused on my goals.
2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
My favorite store is GUESS. I see the brand as representing a young, adventurous, active lifestyle. There’s a slight, edgy European influence to the clothes as well. I always feel like I’m wearing the latest fashion in GUESS. They say that “Clothes define a man”. I can relate to that phrase completely. Wearing clothes that make you look good, can make you feel good and help people get a sense of who you are immediately.
3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
Being that my whole family loves the beach, warm weather and sunshine, we all vacation in South Beach several times a year. The sun makes you feel so alive, energized and truly fuels the active lifestyle that is pervasive in the culture of Miami. We never get enough of the great restaurants, the club style music and the crazy assortment of characters who live there either. South Beach will always be my “go-to” escape.
4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
Living near the shore, I have access to beautiful beaches. One of my fondest memories and favorite things to do is jog on the beach. My mom and I have had a few early morning jogs together, Watching the sun rise over the horizon, feeling the crisp morning air and listening to the waves roll into the beach is awe inspiring. Doing that with my mom, who happens to be my best friend, is priceless.
