1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
The theme song I would use to walk into a room would be “I Was Born This Way” by Lady Gaga. There is nothing better than being yourself, having people accept you for who you are and accepting yourself for the person you are. I feel that being strong and confident in my strengths and weaknesses makes me the best person I can be. It is the person I am willing to experience life as.
2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
I like shopping at a store called Garage. I like the diversity of their clothing. I enjoy that some clothing is outside the box and can influence my creativity and yet there is a typical style that keeps me grounded. If I am feeling a little adventurous I can inter-mix the two. I feel this store allows me to challenge my normal and explore my imagination.
3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
My favorite family vacation is our yearly visit to Stone Harbor, New Jersey. We stay at the same hotel, with the same family friends who my dad grew up with since kindergarten and who have children close in age to us. It’s a tradition I cherish especially now that my dad has passed away. The stories from their past, while creating our own gives a sense of comfort and calm to our long weekend together.
4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
My favorite outdoor activity is with my friends on the playground of our elementary school. It’s where it all began. It reminds me where I started, of what I’ve overcome and what it took of myself to get here now, it makes me proud of the things I’ve accomplished and the dreams I look forward to achieving, I like thinking of how we met and that we are all still together so many years later.
