1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
"Happy" by Pharrell Williams. Coming from the happiest state in the U.S., this song suits me perfectly. I always bring a sunny and bright atmosphere with me wherever I go, even in the –20 degree winter weather we have. It is important to keep a positive attitude because you never know what tomorrow can bring. I live by the quote, "Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life."
2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
Shopping is my favorite thing to do with my mom and it’s impossible to pick just one favorite store. We make shopping a special occasion and a full day event. We live in a small town and don’t have many hometown selections to choose from. We are definitely bargain shoppers and you will find us in every single store that has a great sale!
3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
We traveled to New York City in 2006 to visit the 9/11 Memorial. It was the most eye-opening experience I have ever had. My dad had just returned from deployment in Iraq and my family made the trip to help my sister and I understand why he went there. I will never forget that amazing experience and I am so blessed to still have him in our lives. Thank you Dad for protecting my future.
4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
Fishing is my favorite outdoor activity. I began fishing at a young age and it's an activity that has always intrigued me. Being outside is an opportunity you don't give up when you live in North Dakota, and fishing is one of the most relaxing and peaceful things there is to do. Our scenery is beyond compare and I will always love experiencing the sights and sounds of North Dakota.
