1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
If I could change my name, I wouldn’t. I like my name and go by a combination of my first and middle name, Madi Rae. My sister, at 2 1/2, helped name me and she is my best friend. I believe that if I was meant to have a different name, I would have been named what I was supposed to be when I was born.
2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
My favorite day of the week is Friday because it’s the end of the school week and beginning of the weekend. The weekend is my break time where I can enjoy doing things with more time such as competitive dance, volunteering, and spending more time with family and friends. I also get caught up on sleep (haha!).
3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
I didn’t watch too many movies when I was younger but if I had to pick a movie as a child it would be the Harry Potter series of movies (I know, that wasn’t too long ago, I’m only 13!). I was into all the magic and it stretched my imagination. Harry Potter allowed me to think outside of the box and had shown me that strength and perseverance always prevails.
4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
My absolute favorite sport is dance! I have been on competition dance teams and that gives me the opportunity to travel, dance and compete. Dance has taught me how to be accountable to my team, my coach and myself. It also allows me to stay fit and healthy, happy and strong. My platform is Healthy Lifestyle, Healthy You and due to dance, I get to live my platform every single day.
