1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
If I changed my name, I would change it to Aria. An aria is a piece of music with an expressive melody. Arias are long accompanied songs for a solo voice, typical in an opera. I love what it means, as well as the way the word sings as you say it.
2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
I think every day of the week is a gift, but Saturdays are my favorite! It is an opportunity each week to have a day that I structure, according to my own plan. I enjoy Saturday morning theatre rehearsals and spending time with my family and friends.
3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
My favorite movie as a child was the Disney movie, The Game Plan. It is a story of a young girl who ironically, shares the name Payton with me. She loses her mom and goes to live with a father she do not know. The message in the end is that family is the most important thing!
4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
My favorite sport is figure skating. The North Dakota winters provide us with the opportunity to embrace some winter activities. I grew up in a home with a pond in the back yard. That is where I learned to skate. When I was younger, I competed in figure skating and synchronized team skating. The skill and artistry involved in skating make it challenging to learn and captivating to watch.
