1. What kind of BARBIE do you think you’d be?
I would love to live in Nassau, Bahamas once I graduate from college. I’ve visited there often with my mom and made friends. My primary why is taken from their flag, the sun, the beautiful color of the water and the people being on one accord. The sun is bright, the sounds of the water is peaceful, and the people take care of each other. Regardless of when I’m there, their hospitality is like royalty.
2. What’s the weirdest item you keep by your bed?
My mother and I went to Nassau, Bahamas. It’s warm in the hotel room, but my mom said it was getting cold. She called the front desk and asked them to turn on the heat. I laughed and asked if she was for real? They told her that they didn’t have heat in the hotel. Mommy asked for blankets. It was hilarious that someone that’s always hot was now cold.
3. What cartoon character do you relate to the most and why?
If I am blessed of winning Miss Teen International I want to advance my caregiving platform. I want to ensure everyone understands because one is ill, it doesn’t mean they cannot be personally cared for outside of medical care. I will travel throughout Maryland and make sure the ill is comfortable with personal care. After watching a family member receive medical care and lack of personal care, my caregiving platform began.
4. Would you time travel to the past or future?
Beauty to me is from the inside out. Good looks may be on the outside. but it’s only skin deep. True beauty is when you show kindness, respect and make others feel loved regardless of their situation, being there to give support, and making others smile and feel good about themselves. True beauty is a part of giving and expecting nothing in return.
