1.What is the funniest thing you believed as a child?
I would love to live in Seattle, Washington because I love the rain and the ocean. I would probably walk or run on the pier every night because it’s so peaceful. I also love seafood, my favorite thing to eat when I go somewhere on the west coast is clam chowder, and Seattle had some pretty amazing clam chowder.
2.What is the one talent you wish you had?
We were in San Diego; my mom was driving down a really busy street, a squirrel tried to run across the road. My mom screamed and swerved to miss it, but the car behind us ran over it. My dad and I were cracking up, but my mom couldn’t decide whether to laugh or cry because the squirrel died. Poor squirrel...
3.Other than your family, who is your biggest supporter?
My goal, if I win Miss Teen International 2018, is to raise awareness on childhood diseases, specifically leukemia; and help people understand the challenges chronically ill kids and their families experience. I’d love to encourage others to make a small difference by donating coloring books or other activities to help bring moments of positivity into the pediatric units.
4.What is the best costume you’ve ever worn for Halloween?
To me, beauty is what’s on the inside, not just the outside. I believe that being kind and genuine is being beautiful. If you’re beautiful on the outside, but you don’t know how to be kind, your true colors really show, and make you less attractive.
